The Pre-licensing course can be taken either in a classroom environment or through distance learning/virtual classes. If you opt for the classroom version, you will receive a MV-278 Prelicensing Certificate of Completion. All courses have the same curriculum, regardless of which version you choose. The provider will report your completion at the DMV once you've successfully completed your course. You will not be required to present a proof of completion to be able to sit for your driver's exam.
